Barcode Artwork Test
We have a new service where we can test your barcode artwork, to give you an idea of whether it will scan well.
This test will be done on your artwork so you can have more confidence about the quality of the barcode before you go to print or it will tell you what problems there are with the barcode artwork.
To do this test, please purchase the quantity you require ($30 each), and then email a pdf of the barcode artwork to us. The pdf must be A4 or smaller in size, and 100%. We will print it on a laser printer in B&W (so it won’t test any other print colours) and test it, then email the report to you.
You can view some sample reports below. Grades vary from A (excellent) to C (OK) to D & below which are fails.

Code 39 and 128 (asset tracking)
If you need Code 39 or Code 128 barcode images, please order them below. We will email the barcodes to you.
Please enter the barcode data you want encoded into the “additional information” section when checking out. The data can be numeric or alpha-numeric (eg. “AB1000” to “AB1499”).
Code 39 and Code 128 barcodes are used for stock management (asset labelling) requirements, such as membership cards and school/library books.

Custom-designed QR codes
Standard QR codes, although easily recognisable, can be an ugly part of product labelling or your design. It is possible to transform QR codes from being purely functional to integrate well with your brand identity / product design.
If you have a good designer, they can modify the QR codes for you, however this is often expensive, and sometimes they can inadvertently damage the actual QR code so it won’t scan well.
We have dedicated designers that can provide custom QR code designs for you. You need to purchase the QR codes first, buy this package and then tell us about your company’s brand and how you will be using the QR code. Then our designers can create a custom QR code for you.
This example shows the same QR code in original and customised versions.
There are limits to the changes we can make to a QR code as the overriding aim is to maintain its ability to be scanned. We can introduce two colours (with gradients), add a custom logo to the centre and alter the QR code’s foreground element design.
Our standard package gives you one custom design that can be applied to up to 3 distinct QR codes. Any extra design time is charged at 25 FJD per hour.

Purchase International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN) images for books
All books use 13 digit ISBN barcodes. These are obtained through a designated organisation in each country. For Fiji, contact USP.If you have an ISBN number and require barcode images (eg for your book cover), purchase them here. ITF-14 Carton Barcodes
ITF-14 (TUN) Image for the outside of a carton containing a quantity of your retail product – based on your EAN-13 retail barcode number. Images emailed to you in 4 different formats (tif, .bmp, .jpg, .pdf & .eps)
You will be asked to enter your EAN-13 barcode number on the checkout page. If you are purchasing an EAN-13 barcode at the same time as an ITF-14 barcode, then just type “N/A” as we will assign an EAN-13 barcode number to you, and then use that number to create your ITF-14 barcode images.
NOTE ITF-14 barcodes are for use on cartons for shipping, not for retail sale. If your carton is being sold at retail level, you should use an EAN-13 retail barcode on the carton.

A customised QR code using our custom design service QR codes are becoming increasingly popular as a way to link consumers to product websites or promotional webpages. When a consumer scans a QR code using their phone, they are usually linked to a specific website page that has information about the product, company or service, or a promotional offer.
Our QR code advantage
Unlike our retail barcodes, QR codes are based on information you supply, and their size varies on the amount of information required. Each QR code is unique. Our system automatically sizes the QR code so it scans well based on the amount of encoded data.
To ensure your physical QR code has a longer life span, we recommend programming your QR code with a QR redirect. This allows you to redirect your QR code to different links in the future, multiple times, without changing the physical QR code. You can implement this yourself, or choose the dynamic QR code option below to have us provide this service.
Free QR code generators/apps
As you can see, there are some extra considerations with QR codes that makes it worthwhile using a paid service where we can advise you, but of course free online QR code generators do work fine assuming you have the right strategy for what data to encode, its output size and how to make them last as long as possible. Very few ‘free’ QR code generators are actually free without restrictions – please check how many scans of your QR code you are allowed, and how long the QR code will work for.
How to choose and buy our QR code service
Enter the web link (or other data) you want encoded into the QR code on the checkout page. The barcode images will be emailed to you.
We offer standard and dynamic QR codes. Standard QR codes encode your information (normally a web link) directly, so the web link cannot be changed. Our dynamic QR codes use our URL redirection service that allows you to change the destination link at any time – perfect for increasing the lifespan of your QR code. This option features optional tracking, allowing you to see how many times your QR code has been scanned.

Please note, these are not a substitute for retail barcodes – you still need EAN or UPC barcodes if you are selling your product at retail.
